Controversies
Controversy with Doctor: In 2008, There was a doctor from “Subharti hospital in Meerut”. “Doctor Shantanu” went to the shop to purchase glass and there was Praveen with his friends and the water was accidently thrown on them, after that Praveen and his friends followed him on the road and got into a fight, they claim that they threw it intentionally. But later on Praveen says sorry to the doctor. In an interview Doctor said he did not take legal action for the sake of nation’s pride and forgave him.
Spat with neighbours: In 2019, Praveen’s neighbour “Deepak sharma” filed a complaint that praveen had beaten him and his seven year old son. According to his neighbour he was waiting for his son to return from school and Praveen was drunk and abused the bus driver in which his son was coming and misbehaved with him. According to him he pushed his son and he had a back injury. Deepak complained about his behaviour but police refused to file a complaint as per the cricketer’s status and Deepak refused to do compromise and after that Praveen got death threats.
